A. Multiple Ranking Lists

Each ranking is its own list with its own player pool. Create one for each tour, sport, or division you run.

βž• Create a ranking

  1. Open the πŸ… Rankings screen from the admin area.
  2. Tap the blue + Create Ranking button (top right).
  3. Fill the form titled Create Ranking:
    • Ranking Name * (required, max 100).
    • Sport (e.g., "Air Hockey", max 50).
    • Description (optional, max 200).
  4. Add players: type into Search existing players or type new name… and pick a player from the dropdown.
  5. For bulk add, tap πŸ“‹ Import List.
  6. Reorder with β–²/β–Ό arrows next to each entry. Remove with Γ—.
  7. Tap the purple Save Rankings button (full width).

B. Match Log & Rollbacks

Every ranking change is recorded in the ranking's Match Log - winner, loser, rank change, and date. Rollbacks are recorded too, so the history is auditable.

πŸ“‹ Read the match log

  1. Open a ranking. Below the top 10 entries, find the Match Log ({count}) header.
  2. Tap Show All to expand (or Show Less to collapse).
  3. Each entry shows:
    • Winner (green) def. Loser (red).
    • Rank delta: "#oldRank β†’ #newRank" or "No change".
    • If the entry was a rollback, a yellow ROLLBACK badge appears.
    • Date on the right (e.g., "Jan 15").
    • A small purple View button for the underlying match.
Tip: Rollbacks are logged as their own entries rather than erased. That keeps your audit trail intact - useful for disputes or transparency on a public ranking.

C. Share & Embed

Each ranking card has two buttons: Share (copies the public link) and Embed (opens a modal with iframe snippets).

πŸ“€ Share a public link

  1. On the ranking card, tap the green Share button.
  2. The public URL is copied to your clipboard.
  3. URL format: https://portal.superbracketbuilder.com/rankings/{id}.
  4. Paste into a tweet, Instagram bio, or anywhere players can click.

πŸͺŸ Embed on your site

  1. Tap the blue Embed button.
  2. Modal title: Embed: {ranking.name}. Subtitle: "Choose a theme and copy the embed code".
  3. Pick a theme: Dark, Light, Midnight, or Neon. Tap to copy a full iframe code (height="600").
  4. For a smaller widget without profile pics, scroll to Compact Embed (smaller, no profile pics) and tap one of the four theme buttons (height="400", &compact=1).
  5. Paste the iframe into your site's HTML.

D. Guest Entrants

Include out-of-org players (travelers, visitors) as guests. They count toward your ranking without inflating your member roster.

βž• Add a guest

  1. In the ranking editor, type a new name into Search existing players or type new name….
  2. If no match exists, the dropdown shows + Add "{name}" as Guest.
  3. Tap it. The guest is added with a small yellow Guest badge on their row.
  4. Guests have isGuest: true on their entry - they don't create an athlete account or count toward your seat limit.
Tip: Use guests for visiting pros at one-off events. The ranking sees them, but they don't clutter your players list.
