Player Stats & Awards

Every match feeds the leaderboard automatically. Player profiles show career stats, tournament and match history, awards, and tagged photos. Custom award badges keep your community engaged across the whole season.

A. Full Leaderboard

The 📊 Stats screen is the main leaderboard. It aggregates every tournament with cards for Championships, Tournament Record, Game Record, Win %, and total Awards.

🏆 Open the leaderboard

  1. From the home screen (athlete or director), tap Stats.
  2. The top section shows 🏆 Tournament Statistics — Championships, Tournaments, Tournament Record, Game Record, Win %, Awards.
  3. Below that, the StatsFilterBar appears with three dropdowns: Organization, Sport, Tier.
  4. Scroll for Tournament History — reverse chronological list with placement, sport, tier, W-L, points, and date.

B. Player Profiles

Every player has a profile screen — career stats, rankings, social handles, tournament history, match history, and award badges. Tap any player name anywhere in the app to open theirs.

📋 Sections on a player profile

  1. Personal Information — name, bio, location, Instagram, Twitter/X handles.
  2. Rankings — every ranking list the player appears in, with current rank (e.g., "#3 Regional Pool Ladder").
  3. Account — email, member-since date, Change Email button (own profile only).
  4. Push Notification Preferences — 7 toggles for which alert types to receive (own profile).
  5. 🏆 Recent Results — last 5 tournaments with placement medal and W-L record.
  6. ⚔️ Match Record — last 5 matches with W/L badge, opponent, score, date.
  7. 🎖️ Awards — badge gallery (6 most recent + "View all →").
  8. Danger Zone — Delete Account (disabled for tournament directors).
Tip: Profiles are linked everywhere — bracket nodes, standings rows, match history, the leaderboard. Tap a name to drill into stats without losing your place.

C. Custom Awards

Create badges with custom names, images, and criteria. The app auto-distributes them when players hit the threshold (attendance, wins) — or hand them out manually for one-off achievements.

🤖 Automatic awards

  1. Director Dashboard → Awards.
  2. Fill in the Automatic Awards form: Name, upload an Image, set a numeric Threshold.
  3. Pick Criteria: attendance (tournaments played) or wins (match wins).
  4. Check Distribute Now to auto-assign to every currently-eligible player.
  5. Tap Create. Future eligible players get the badge automatically when they cross the threshold.

✋ Custom (manual) award

  1. On the Awards screen, tap Custom Award.
  2. Search for the recipient by name.
  3. Enter the Award Name, Notes/Description, and pick an emoji.
  4. Submit. The player receives a push notification (if they have push enabled).

D. Filters & Sorting

Slice stats by organization, sport, and tier. Date range pickers let you compare any window — last month vs. this month, season totals vs. all time.

🎚️ Use the StatsFilterBar

  1. Open the Stats screen.
  2. Find the filter bar below the stat cards.
  3. Pick an Organization (if you've joined more than one).
  4. Pick a Sport from "All Sports" + the list of sports your org runs.
  5. Pick a Tier: All Tiers, Weekly, State, Regional, National, or Major.
  6. (Compact mode) Use the From date and To date inputs for custom ranges.
  7. Tap ✕ Clear to reset all filters.
Tip: Tier filtering is great for spotlight stats — "Who's our best Major performer this year?" Filter to Tier = Major and the leaderboard re-sorts instantly.
